* First, Second, Third Prize winners in all Solo and Chamber Categories will receive a hard copy by post and e-certificates by e-mail.

CONCERT OPPORTUNITIES
Solo Winners Concert
Competitors awarded First, Second, or Third Prize in the Solo Category will be offered the opportunity to perform one solo piece (non-orchestral) at the Winners Concert held at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall or another prestigious venue in Poland.
Participants wishing to perform with orchestra must obtain a prize in the Concerto Category, where performances consist of one concerto movement.
Junior Concerto Winners Concert
Winners of the Junior Concerto Category will be invited to perform one concerto movement with the K Novart Orchestra at the Winners Concert held at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.
The First Prize Winner may also have the opportunity to perform with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, subject to the availability of performance slots.
Young Artist & Professional Categories Concerto
In the Concerto Category, performance priority at the Winners’ Concert (Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall) will be given to the First Prize and Second Prize Winners.
The Third Prize Winner may be invited to perform one concerto movement with the K Novart Orchestra.
Chamber Music Category
Prize-winning ensembles in the Chamber Music Category will be invited to perform one piece only at the Winners Concert.
No changes in ensemble membership will be permitted for this performance.
General Conditions
Concert placement is a qualification status only.
Additional performance fees and conditions may apply to participants invited to perform at the Winners’ Concert or other official events.
*Conditions apply including but not limited to:
– performing solo (not with orchestra) for winners of solo category – one piece only
– performing with orchestra is reserved for winners of concerto category only
– concert will be scheduled at the time of the String Avenue and Chopin Avenue Summer Piano Festival but it does not equal to a Festival participation pass. The festival pass may be obtained separately.
– the concert opportunity is to qualify contestants to play on the stage solo or with orchestra,
please kindly note that extra fees apply for venue and orchestra hire and travel arrangements are to be born by participantsc– due to limited spots for Winners Concerts, Summer Festival Participants enjoy the priority to be offered a concert spot
– priority will also be given to first, second, third prize winners respectively
– due to high prestige of the concert hall and young age of Group A winners, String Avenue reserves additional rights to screen Group A winners before accepting them for the concert
– organizers reserve the rights to change/postpone the schedule due to travel restrictions, forces majeure or other reasons
1st, 2nd, 3rd Prize are ranked based on balanced evaluation of technical skills and music interpretation. The winners of 1st, 2nd, 3rd place have performed their pieces with good technique appropriate and expected in their age category. The awards were presented by judges based on their individual scoring concluded with further discussions.
The Best Performance of a Henryk Wieniawski’s Work Award – this award is decided by Assembly of Judges of the competition not by the Henryk Wieniawski Musical Society. It is presented to participants who balanced their technical skills and musical interpretation of the Wieniwski’s piece they played. Participants may have not played on as high technical level as the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Prize winners in their age category but stand out in their combined technique and musicality while performing the Wieniawski’s piece.

Special Diplomas Issued by
The Best Performers of Wieniawski’s works in Young Artists and Professional cagegories will be awarded a diploma issued by the Henryk Wieniawski Music Society in Poznań, Poland
